Here is a little update regarding what's around the corner!

2008 is the first year local artists have been permitted to perform at Spirit West Coast. Spirit West Coast is the largest Christian Music Festival touring the west coast and will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, May 23rd through May 25th 2008. The Mary James Band will be the final band to appear on the KPRZ Homegrown stage on Saturday, May 24th at 4:40 p.m.

Thanks to Caz Taylor, Chris Surdock and Paul Marshek for making all of this possible. These men are committed to developing a united community of worshippers in San Diego and have worked to give as many artists as possible the opportunity to minister through word and song at Spirit West Coast 2008!!!

Bobbye Brooks and Tonilee Adamson, the "Daily Disciples", have invited me to join arms with them as they seek to bring hope, healing and growth in Christ to women around the globe. As a result, I will be leading worship and providing special music for their 2008 conference series.

The next conference is scheduled for June 21, 2008, in Aurora, Colorado. In addition, they have just created a promotional video to my song, "Do You Know My Name", which tells the story of a woman who has lost her faith in God. Loneliness is written all over her face and a sister takes the time to invite her to a Daily Disciple's conference. The new CD is just about finished and we plan to release it in August or September. Yes, of 2008. I am working on the title and am giving those who wish to participate, the opportunity to cast their vote. Just go to my contact page and send an email telling me your favorite title (or click here). The CD Release concert is going to be held as a complimentary event for the San Diego community and beyond. I have received so much love and support over the years, I want to give back the only way that know how. So, my sweet friends keep your eyes and ears open! We should be announcing a concert date very soon!

Singer-songwriter Greg McDougal is releasing a duets album and I have been blessed with the
opportunity to sing on the project. Greg has four children, three of which have been diagnosed
with Cystic Fibrosis. Greg is trying to build an allergy free home for his children and is using
the music to achieve that goal. Please visit his website to learn more about the McDougal
family and the ways that you can help support such a meaningful cause.

Other artists scheduled to appear on the duets album are The Oak Ridge Boys,
The Bellamy Brothers, Tammy Cochran, Melanie Walker, Tommy Brandt
